Your investment service
Restricted Advice — when you receive investment advice from us, our recommendations are drawn from a curated panel of leading investment companies. We look at a range of pre-vetted investments from companies that meet our approval, and will happily provide a list of the companies we use upon request.
You will not incur any fees for our services until we have agreed what they will be. You may also need to pay charges related to the products we recommend; these will be presented to you before you agree to proceed.
The advice fee (initial fee)
Your advice fee covers our advice in relation to:
- Reviewing your existing investments and financial affairs
- Setting up a financial plan for you
- Making recommendations on suitable investment solutions to help you meet your goals
How the advice fee applies to lump sums
When you invest a lump sum, our advice fee is tiered — the more you invest, the lower the fee rate you pay:
- 3% of the first £100,000 you invest
- 2% on the next £200,000 you invest
- 1% on amounts you invest above £300,000
- Example: £250,000 invested = £6,000 (2.4%); £500,000 invested = £9,000 (1.80%)
How the advice fee applies to regular contributions
If you pay into your investment regularly, the fee for a new client is fixed at £600 (which may be taken over 12 months). Discounts apply for existing clients, and there is no fee for existing clients starting regular premiums into a product we already manage.
Ongoing advice fees
Where recommended, many clients opt into our ongoing advice service to keep their plans on track, including an annual Progress Check meeting, a consolidated annual report, fund switch recommendations and administrative support. The standard fee is 1% per year of the value of your portfolio, with a blended structure for larger portfolios:
- First £300,000 — 1.00%
- Next £100,000 — 0.80%
- Next £350,000 — 0.50%
- Next £1,250,000 — 0.25%
- Above £2,000,000 — 0.01%
Minimum fees & discounts
The minimum advice fee for our initial advice service is £600; the minimum for our ongoing advice service is £500 p.a.; the minimum for withdrawing money from retirement funds is £300 (waived for standard ongoing clients with over £750,000 under management). For existing clients we do not apply minimum fees.
We offer an existing client discount (20% off initial advice fees and removal of minimum fees) and a family member discount (20% off the first initial advice fee). A family member includes parents, spouse, partner, siblings, children, grandparents and grandchildren, whether by birth, adoption or guardianship.
Mortgages & insurance
We offer residential and buy-to-let mortgage advice from a range of lenders representative of the whole of market (excluding direct-only products). Typical fees: home buyers/movers, buy-to-let and remortgages £495 (£195 on application, £300 on offer); product transfers £195; adverse credit £995. In addition, we receive commission from the lender.
For insurance (life, critical illness, income protection, whole of life, private medical, buildings and contents) you will not pay us a fee — we are paid commission by the product provider, with full details set out in your illustration document.

Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS)
We are covered by the FSCS. In the unlikely event we cannot meet our obligations, you may be entitled to compensation depending on your type of advice/product:
- Up to £85,000 per eligible person, per institution for deposits
- Up to £85,000 per eligible person, per firm for investments
- Up to £85,000 per eligible person, per firm for mortgages
- 100% protection for long-term insurance; 90% for all other insurance
Data protection
The personal information you provide will be used and stored in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and the UK GDPR. Cancellations & refunds
You can cancel these Terms at any time without penalty, though you may still have to pay for work already carried out. For initial investment advice, if a recommendation is not implemented or a product is cancelled, no refunds are given and all work undertaken will be billable as agreed (unless you cancel within the cooling-off period). You can cancel our ongoing service at any time by email or post; we will aim to stop the fee within 5 working days and refund any overpayment. For mortgages, no refund applies if you decide not to proceed, although the fee may be transferable to another property or product within 12 months.
VAT
In most instances our fees are exempt from VAT. However, where VAT is payable — for example where a discretionary fund manager forms part of our recommendation, or where a fee is charged before application — we will tell you. Fees set out in these Terms do not include VAT unless stated otherwise; if VAT applies it will be charged on top of the stated fee.
Other important information
Rehoboth Wealth Management Ltd is authorised and regulated by the FCA (check the register at https://register.fca.org.uk/s/ or call 0300 500 8082). We categorise all individual clients as retail clients, giving you the highest level of protection. We do not handle client money or accept cash. These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and all advice is conducted in the UK.
We may change these Terms, including fees and commission rates, from time to time. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any change that may be detrimental to you, unless required to make the change sooner.
